Our Goal at Mid Atlantic Charters is to provide air charter service for the business or leisure traveler.Travelers are looking for safe, convenient, reliable, personalized air transportation service not offered by our major competition. Conventional air, train and automobile travel will be our primary competition. Our goal is not to compete with the regional and major airlines in terms of sheer number of flights, but to offer our clients high quality, personalized air charter service to those cities and suburbs not effectively served by their other options. Biography Jonathan McCone Graduated from Mary Washington College in 2002 with a degree in Psychology. During this time, he earned his Private Pilot's License from A.T.C. Flight Training Center in FT. Washington MD.
From 2003-2004 Jon completed the professional Pilot Program from Flight Safety Academy in Vero Beach, FL. Returning to the Washington DC area, Jon spent the next several years as a flight instructor successfully helping many students reach their goal of become pilots. Jonathan also spent two years flying traffic flights for local radio stations around the Nations Capitol and through much of the Flight Restricted Zone surrounding Washington DC. Along with holding the required clearances for flight operations in the Washington Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ) Jonathan has obtained the following ratings and licenses: Commercial License, Instrument Rating, Flight Instruction (CFI), Instrument Instructor (CFII), Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI). All pilots for Mid Atlantic Charters are flight checked with the FAA every 6-months as per FAA Regulations.
